This is my bass rig. I'm using a Line 6 Bass POD rack unit for a pre-amp.
It's powered with a QSC RMX1450 power amp with 450 watts
each side (who says you don't need power anymore?) and two
SWR Goliath 4X10 cabs. I also got the two pedal foot switch -
volume and auto-wha - or whatever you call it. With this thing, I figure total destruction
within a 1 mile radius. I orignally wanted something that I could run
my Rick in stereo but I found out I would need 2 Bass PODs. I decided
that I liked it so much, I would buy it anyway. It has 32 virtual amplifiers with matching cab
models. Although the Bass POD has a lot of flexibility, the one thing I've noticed after more
playing time is that some of the patches don't track lower frequencies that well. This is especially
true with my Rick. The E string is noticably fainter than the rest of the strings. I've also
experienced the same problem with my 5-String. In spite of this, I'm still very happy with it.
