This is the bass I got rid of the Jazz for. This is the first
brand new bass ever I bought. I figure the year to be 1986 or '87.
It's hard to tell because you never know how long it's
been around before somebody actually buys it. It's very light and
has a lot of punch with that P-J configuration. It's a great metal
bass. It was always good for cutting through the great acoustics at
Club Clearview. It's also a very clean sounding bass. It's kind of
like a Strat with no effects. Any little mistake you make comes out.
It has a master volume and a tone control for each pickup. I used
it for a few years, but after buying the G&L, I never looked back.
